Gas Scooter Shipping Policy

Please keep in mind that it is our goal to ship your order the same day it is placed if we receive your order before 11:00 am Central Standard Time. It takes approximately in between 5 to 7 business days for delivery.

We do not ship on Saturdays, Sundays, or Holidays. Any orders placed on Saturday or Sunday will be processed the next business day.

Sorry! We are not accepting international shipments at this time.

For Shipments to Alaska and Hawaii please email or phone us for shipping prices. Items that include Shipping do not pertain to Alaska and Hawaii.

Smaller Items (under 70 lbs.)
Smaller items up to 70 lbs will ship via US Postal or UPS Ground. For rush orders, additional shipping charges will apply. Please contact our shipping department for detail shipping cost. Some items shipped by "UPS" may have an oversize fee, this will cause shipping price to increase. Standard shipping is via UPS Ground. Next Day Air and 2nd DAY Air deliveries are also available at an additional cost, if next day or 2nd day Shipping is requested the order will be shipped the same day it is ready. Please call to verify item stock status and shipping cost.

Larger Items (over 70 lbs.)
Items over 70 lbs ship UPS.
Items over 150 lbs will ship via freight truck. When “freight truck” is selected we will arrange delivery with one of several freight companies that we deal with on a daily basis. The freight company must be able to access your area with a large truck (sometimes an 18-wheeler). The trucking company will call you before attempting to deliver the item. Be sure to give us a valid daytime phone number for them to contact you. Be sure to fully inspect the shipment when it arrives; notify the driver of any damage or missing pieces.

Stock Status

Items that are available for immediate delivery are usually shipped the same day if the order is received by 11:00am Central Standard Time. Shipping is subject to a successful payment processing. Orders placed later in the day will usually be shipped the following business day. Items that are not available for immediate delivery will state they are "temporarily out of stock". We may be expecting a normal shipment from the manufacturer or the item may be on back-order from the manufacturer. Usually we are restocked in a matter of days but on occasion an item can take weeks to be restocked. If an item is out of stock the order will be held "open" and will be shipped immediately upon arrival. You can always contact us to find the current status of a certain item you wish to purchase.

EXTRA SHIPPING COSTS:

Scooters are delivered via truck and you must have 2-3 people available to help unload. If you require a lift gate truck there is an additional $60 charge.

DAMAGED SCOOTERS

Buylowpricescooters.com makes every effort to ensure that products are completely functional and free of any damage when leaving our warehouse. We are not responsible for any damage that occurs during shipping.

We strongly suggest our customers inspect their product immediately upon delivery. If the crate is damaged in any way (looks twisted or it was dropped) note damage on the Bill of Lading and have the driver print and sign his name. Remove the cardboard and if the bike has extensive damage, CONTACT US immediately for assistance.

Minor scratches, places where the scooter rubbed against the packing material are considered wear and tear and are not a reason for refusal of the scooter or claimable items. When buying scooters at wholesale prices customers are expected to understand that this is normal. If you buy at a local dealer for retail prices the scooters are already prepped and these minor damages have been repaired. You can try to submit your claim to the trucking company for those types of issues but there is no guaranty that it will be paid.

If a customer refuses delivery of a scooter they are liable for shipping charges and a restocking fee of 30% unless they have spoken to our customer service department and gotten authorization first. Scratches, gouges, cracks in plastic panels are NOT reason for refusing the scooter and will be handled in the manner described above.

Shipping Method and ETA

Scooter shipping is not available to PO Boxes, APO's or FPO's.

All orders are shipped out via standard ground shipping unless an alternative method is selected. Ground shipping is estimated to take between 5 to 7 business days. USPS delivery times are not guaranteed. If selecting UPS Next Day, 2nd Day, or 3-Day shipping, UPS does not include the date the item is shipped in the transit time. Any additional shipping fees imposed are the responsibility of the customer.

Shipping Delays / Out of Stock Items

Shipping delays may be caused by natural disasters or errors made by a shipping company. A freight carrier may delay a shipment for reasons uncontrollable by us; therefore, in the event of such a delay we cannot be held responsible. In order to ensure your order arrives promptly please insure that your shipping information is correct. In the event an order is returned due to an incorrect address provided by the customer the customer would be accountable for shipping costs.

If an item is out of stock the order will be held "open" and will be shipped immediately upon arrival.

Preparation and Maintenance

For safety precautions, all vehicles must be assembled, inspected and maintained by a certified technician for warranty to be valid. Be sure to check and tighten all nuts and bolts prior to use. Also, be sure to check for appropriate engine fluid levels to ensure your vehicle is operating under the recommended conditions prior to use.

Assembly

Bikes come 99% assembled unless otherwise noted. The customer should check the bike/ scooter for any loose bolts and screws and insure that all bolts and screws are securely tightened prior to riding. Failure to do so may result in accelerated wear and tear to the scooter.
